Rise of Geography in Medicine

Disease and geography have always been together, and this goes thousands of years ago, Doctors began the practice of medicine as a spell to destroy the ills of the people. However, the science of the description of the land acquired fair value next to the art of healing when the doctor began to recount the nature of diseases, aimed to explore when suffering from various ailments or how they are appeared in the past.
Firstly, the human being focused on observing the areas that are suffering from some other conditions, that  is, geographic locations. Later doctors questioned at what duration of year they are expressed with varying intensity and climatic characteristics that prevailed in certain places when they appeared.
Geography was so much in the world of medical and started giving the relationship among science, much powerful with the rise of epidemiology as a specific stream, then when it was noticed the existence of harmful ailments, strong enough to generate large epidemics and horrible results like; death and disability, was dedicated to make the geographical and historical account of the devils that target continuously to people in one geography.
Afterwards, when doctors were able to prove the etiology of the infections, under the tremendous power that
destroyed Microbiology, geography started to become an important part of the action of epidemiologists. This did not stop there, because the advancements of medical science resulted in the rise of public health peoples, the organization of strategic planning phase and health services in which geography again made an entry to help health professionals in work.

The importance of taking medications as prescribed

Any treatment that includes medication intake, must respect the prescription (dose amount and time  period), this is extremely important to get the desired results.

But the truth is that many patients do not take the medication the way your doctor the indicators and this  often brings with it various health complications for the individual and huge health care expenses for states.

Taking medications incorrectly, is technically called non-adherence to treatment and includes multiple  causes. Among them are those who do not take drugs because they can not afford them, others for fear of  side effects and others because they feel that need or that may be beneficial.

Doctors often prescribe certain drugs to think their patients how to take them and tell them that these have no more doubts. However, because many times the query is very short and the doctor explains everything too quickly the patient is removed with a thousand doubts and shame or fear, do not ask and then take the drugs as you like.

Anyway, this is a serious public health problem and despite the efforts of the pharmaceutical industry and physicians have performed for decades to solve, is far from an exit.
